RedAlert - Rocket Alerts

RedAlert - Rocket Alerts is an app that allows you to receive real-time alerts whenever there's a missile threat or another airspace intrusion in Israel. This app uses real-time information from the Civil Defense Command (Pikud Ha-Oref), so you'll receive notifications immediately after the alerts are issued.

Select your area

RedAlert - Rocket Alerts offers alerts for 31 different zones, and within each one, you can select specific areas or locations. So, if your area might be affected, you'll receive a notification, giving you some time to take cover and reduce your chances of being hit by a missile. If you change location frequently, you can enable an option on the app to update your location so you can receive alerts according to where you are in that moment.

Types of alerts

The app will alert you with a notification and a sound, which will be audible even if your smartphone is on silent mode. Warnings are issued for any type of intrusion into Israel's airspace, such as missiles, hostile aircrafts, terrorist infiltrations, etc. In the case of missiles, the time remaining until it makes contact with the ground is calculated according to its trajectory and speed.

Review past alerts

On the main page of the app, you can review the entire alert history, including the area affected, the type of immediacy, the type of alert, the time at which the alert was sent, and the time at which the alert ended. If you tap on the alerts, you'll be able to see the affected areas on a map. You can also delete the alert history to see only the most recent notifications.
